Our Restoration Process
Every vintage piece that comes through our shop starts with a full assessment — checking stitching, hardware, lining, and structure to build a repair plan tailored to that specific item. From there, our craftsmen hand-repair damaged seams, install premium replacement hardware like the YKK slide shown above, and fabricate custom leather accents when needed to hide damage and save on cost. We work carefully to preserve the piece's authentic character rather than making it look "new."
Why Restore Instead of Replace
Vintage designer pieces are often built with materials and craftsmanship that are difficult to find today. Restoration extends the life of a piece you already love, protects its long-term value, and is far more sustainable than replacing it.
